7Chain, “Kindergarten War” Episode on All Situations Requiring Probability

0.007%

On March 13th, 2016, Lee Se-dol, a South Korean professional Go player competed against Google’s AI ‘AlphaGo’ which turned out to be the fight of the century.

The probability that Lee Seo-dol would put the 78th stone on that particular spot was 0.007%.He placed the one and only move that lead him to victory, and he became the one and only person who won the game against AI AlphaGO.

Our life is imperfect, and probability, a continuity of uncertainty which is uncontrollable, continues. There are two choices which we can choose at this moment. One is accepting the uncertainty, the other is overcoming the uncertainty.

We can’t place ‘the move’ like Lee Se-dol, but we do put lots of efforts to increase probability. For baseball, batters who have a high batting average are recruited. For advertising, advertisements are placed on the spots where people gather a lot. Probability pervades our everyday life, and that is why probability should be more transparent and fairer than any other things.

7Chain team has developed its unique RNG technology based on blockchain for the first time in the world. And the technology was first applied to games. That was because we knew that transparent and fair probability is highly important in games which we used to develop. ‘Reliability’ is the blockchain’s unique strength which could not be realized in Internet-based games.

However, our dream of adding the value of reliability is not limited only to games. We present transparent and fair 7Chain on all occasions that require probability.

7Chain taking part in the ‘Kindergarten War’

Every December, South Korea becomes a special ‘warzone’. It a ‘Kindergarten Admission War’ of parents that have children between age 3 to 5. Especially, the state-funded kindergartens that are reliable are highly competitive to get in to the level of several hundreds to one. Parents apply to as many kindergartens as possible by narrowing down the scope starting from the places near to their homes. In order to break competition, parents apply to each and every kindergarten and run to the drawing.

Bigger problem begins from here. Parents watch the ball drawing scene in an auditorium. However, some places do online drawing as there are lots of people who are doubtful about the system. Disgruntled voices arise as there are no way to find out which program is used or to examine the system from the process to the result.

There are kindergartens that automatically accepts the younger brother or sister if the elder brother or sister attends the kindergartens. As a result, there are backlashes called the system as “hereditary”.
However, what if 7Chain’s RNG and blockchain smart contract are introduced to this sector?

Unlike current drawing system where parents had no other choice but to get notified with two results ‘Accepted’ and ‘Failed”, they can check the process that led to the result.

▲ Tracking down the data that are recorded on the blockchain with a transaction viewer

First, a child’s resident registration number (or Social Security Number), 7Chain, and Kindergarten generates numbers respectively. 7Chain RNG technology which encrypt and exchange the numbers record the transparent process with smart contract and manages the drawing by generating fair probability. Everyone can see how certain probability is generated along with the result.

We can actually see the data recorded on the blockchain anywhere with anyone. Your child has the right to be educated in a fair environment according to transparent result.
