Alien Incubation, The First Digital Assets!
Hello Fellow Traveler!
We in the midst of, what’s being called our Origin Season of Alien Arsenal: Battle for the Blockchain, where you are a participant in the origin story of Alien Arsenal. See this article to learn about the Space Drop, and to participate in this prequel adventure!
In this release we are joined by our first Alien visitors. It’s up to you to choose one to join you in the upcoming Battle for the Blockchain. Make your selection carefully because initially you’ll only be able to incubate a single (and the first one is always free). In future episodes additional aliens can be incubated to join your arsenal, but those will require you to redeem your 8Bit Tokens in exchange.
This new release should already be on your mobile device. Just open Alien Arsenal to choose your first Alien adventurer. If it’s not there, try quitting the app and restarting it.
Smart Game Objects
These Aliens are some of the first true, upgradable, digital assets available on the Ethereum blockchain and we call them Smart Game Objects (Want to know more? Read the introduction to Smart Game Objects). In our Origin Season, these alien Smart Game Objects are on the Ethereum test net so we can verify their functionality.
Skills
Once you choose which Alien will join you’ll be asked to select an initial skill or attack type for your alien. This skill will be used in future battles as your Alien’s attack style.
Incubation
When you incubate your alien it’s recording the choices you’ve made to the Ethereum Blockchain. This makes your alien unique, and in future releases, as you level your alien up, you’ll select additional skills per level, making it even more unique with every progression!
What’s Next?
Thank you, again, for joining us early in the origin story of Alien Arsenal: Battle for the Blockchain. Each feature that is added is a huge advancement for gaming and blockchain. Though it might not seem like much, a lot is happening, so we are introducing each new feature slowly and deliberately. Our goal is for blockchain integration to be nearly invisible and this process to be simple. In future builds we’ll be introducing gameplay elements and moving Alien Arsenal to the App and Play Stores to make it easier to get. In the mean time, please, let us know your thoughts and comments.
