A small bakery named Bread Alone is in Upstate New York. I write about this specific bakery because it is one of the only local bakeries in Woodstock, New York, and one of the best. They are located at 3962 NY-28, Boiceville, NY 12412 They sell many baked goods including freshly baked bread, muffins, and many other pastries. Personally, one of my favorite things to get at Bread Alone is the Geneva cake. Did you need the cake? It is great if you like sweet, pretty decent-sized cakes. They taste almost like the inside of an almond croissant.

Bread Alone Is one of my favorite places to get a pastry in the morning on my way to play basketball with my dad. The store has takeout food or you can eat inside or on the beautiful picnic tables surrounded by pretty bushes and small trees. Going to Alone is also a great place to go when you’re in your house and the power goes out because of a storm or trees falling on the power line because after all, this is Upstate New York. It is a good place to go to get the internet when the power is out and every time the power is out on a weekday we go there to do online school because of covid-19.

Overall I think Bread Alone is a great place to come with your family or friends. If you’re ever visiting Upstate New York in the Woodstock area it has a great selection of kid-friendly food and obviously adult-friendly too. It has vegetarian meals and everything you might want. I definitely recommend going to Bread Alone if you’re ever in the Upstate New York-Woodstock area.
