My critique is about Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and my experience in seeing it. My experience watching the movie was a very happy one. I was at my aunt’s house on the couch right after finishing the book. My aunt and I sat there wrapped in blankets as we watched. I loved the movie so much I watched it like a million times. My favorite part is when Harry finds out he is a wizard and Hagrid uses magic to make Dudley a tail so he would look like a pig.

OINK OINK!

The summaries that I would usually do would be: It’s about a misfit boy named Harry Potter. The end.

But this time I will actually put some work into this document. Harry Potter is a misfit boy who is very lonely, then on his eleventh birthday he is sent to the school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts. Then he finds out why everyone knows his name. It is because he is known as the Boy Who Lived. He was the one who defeated Voldemort. The boy who saved the wizarding world. He was the only one who lived through an Unforgivable Curse. The Avada Kedavra curse, which is the killing curse.

The theme is that you can’t overestimate the power of friendship. What I appreciate the most is how they made the characters’ personalities. My favorite character is Hermione who is creative and intelligent. I’d rate it 1000 out of 100.
