Rice and Beans

I chose rice and beans because it is the first food I thought of and I figured I could find the recipe pretty quickly. It doesn’t really have any significance to me. It is very filling and it is pretty good. Sometimes I have bananas on the side of my rice and beans for some reason I like to eat sweet foods with savory foods.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice
- ½ lb Beans
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 1/2 Red Onion
- Oil
- Water
- Banana (optional)
- Green Pepper
- Cilantro
- Adobo
- Sazon
- Black Pepper
- Vinegar
- Oregano
- Tomato Sauce
- Manzanilla Olives
10 servings if everyone is normal but if I come to the party it would be 9 servings (I count for two, based on real life). Duh duh cling.
Steps:
- Put a pot on the stove at medium heat.
- Add some oil.
- Add all the seasonings.
- Add the beans and three cups of water.
- When water is boiling, add the rice, previously washed.
- Taste it for salt and cover it halfway.
- When all the water is gone, stir in the rice.
- Cover it and let it cook for about 25 to 30 min.
- Now you can eat!
