Protocol Weekly is a newsletter to exclusively showcase the progress of Ethereum layer-2 protocols.

Issue #1

Welcome to the first edition of Protocol Weekly.

Here at 8x, we recognised there were a select group of Ethereum projects which had a strong focus on building great products and infrastructure to power web 3.

Our goal is to showcase these projects and to keep the wider community informed of their progress and anything they might need help with.

If you have any feedback, feel free to reach out to me directly at @kermankohli or hello@8xprotocol.com

- Take a look at our newly-updated roadmap to see where we’re going in the months ahead.

- We added methods to `dharma.js`to streamline loan repayment, reclaiming of collateral, and seizing of collateral.
- Implemented MVP of crowdfunding through Dharma that enables fungible bond issuances using an ERC-20 token that represents a bond. This enables debt issuances with one borrower and multiple lenders (e.g., crowdfunding, corporate bonds, and venture debt.
