The Next Step

Hey everyone, Nath here.

As some of you know, I recently got a job at PixelTail Games, who develop the video game Tower Unite. I’m super excited to work with their team and after 13 months of searching, I finally struck gold and found my dream job.

PixelTail Games is based in Western US time — an 8 hour time difference from me. So when the sun goes down here, it’s still morning for them. As a result, from now on instead of being sat in a voice channel talking about bagels or playing games, I’ll most likely be at work. I’m only at work on weekday evenings, and on Saturdays and Sundays you bet I’ll be chilling in 95 Degrees like I used to. However, during 95 Degrees’ most active hours on weekdays I won’t be able to moderate or run any events.

I also want to note that I wouldn’t have anything on my CV for community management if it wasn’t for 95 Degrees. Thanks to everyone who chats in the server, joins events, listens to our podcast, etc. You guys are the reason I got this job and it means so much to me. I’ll never leave or forget you guys. PixelTail, if you’re reading this, thanks so much for letting me join your incredible team.

So, I’m still getting to grips on my new job. We’ll see how it works out. But for now, this is pretty much a heads-up on what to expect in the future. Thanks again for all the love and support. ❤

TL;DR — I won’t be around to mod or run as many events during weekday evenings (peak hours) because I have a job now.
