Born in Bangkok in 1992. Jutharat Pinyodoonyachet, aka Poupay, realized that she had a passion for photography since childhood and kept photographing from then on. She was known as a young and emerging Thai street photographer before going to New York for studying One Year Certificate program at International Center of Photography (ICP). After graduation, she became an intern at renowned photographers collective Magnum Photos for a while. Jutharat has a gift and good eye that could interpret any ordinary things surrounding her to be something special astoundingly. Un-Organ, a series about parts of bodies and tiny ordinary things which are combined and represented as new meanings — clever and so fun. Recent works are quite different from her past street works, simpler, tranquil, and tend to be about mood and tone increasingly. Jutharat’s works have been shown in Thailand and worldwide such as New York city, Miami, San Francisco, Belgium, Germany, etc. Also she was one of the winners of LensCulture and PDN Annual Contest in 2017. She currently works as a freelance photographer based in Bangkok.
