British-Thai photographer, born and raised in Bangkok. After graduating with a BSc in Sociology from the University of Bristol and an MA Photojournalism from the University of Westminster, Cattleya returned to Thailand. Equality and social justice have always been an important part of her work. Cattleya’s projects have mainly been documentary but with age and motherhood, how those issues are being explored are gradually evolving. Cattleya has exhibited in London, Bangkok, Yangon and Phnom Penh. In 2018, Cattleya won a grant from the Global Gender Parity Initiative at New America to document her life as a Mother.
