Born and raised in Chumphon, a province in the south of Thailand, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture and Video. After graduating, Noppadol worked in the film industry for a while and moved to New Zealand to live and work as a help cook. It was a great experience there for living in multiple cultures society, he said. After 4 years living in New Zealand, Noppadol decided to come back to his hometown and worked as a chef. In the meantime he created a lot of street photography works reflecting where he had been living and feeling. Firstly it was quite a simple concept — shooting for keeping memories like other people, shortly afterwards street photography gradually appeared in his works. In 2015, Noppadol has gained recognition by being in international street photography awards such as Miami Street Photography Festival, World Street Photography Awards, EyeEm Photography Awards, etc. Many years later, he still participated in various competitions; also was invited to exhibit and feature in many countries. A few years past, seemingly, Noppadol found the way of his street photography style. Not just emotional colors or feelings in his pictures that are obvious but “Habitat” and “Culture” which Noppadol pulls them in keenly and combines with his good eye — the result is street photographs we cannot take our eyes off and push him to international level. Noppadol still lives in Chumphon with his wife, has a small restaurant, and keep creating street photography works until now.
