Born and raised in Bangkok. Thamarong graduated from the Queen Mary College, University of London with a Master’s Degree. Started by buying an expensive camera and wanted to use it effectively. Like other amateurs, he taught himself and spent his free time gaining photography skills. Before going to the office; he waited on the footbridge and captured many passing trucks. The outcome was a splendid series called “8 a.m.”. A ton of feedback both negative and positive came to him which means it was indeed interesting and successful. This series was the first solo exhibition of him shown at Kathmandu Photo Gallery in 2018 curated by renowned Thai photographer Manit Sriwanichpoom. Thamarong now lives and works in Bangkok.
