Is It 1924 All Over Again?
The Grifter, again, is a symptom, of something deeply foul
I won’t comment on the election because I am not surprised. I will talk about how 2024 is very similar to 1924.
The year, 1924, is the year the U.S. passed a draconian immigration law and effectively closed the border. It was called the Immigration Act of 1924.
Here goes:
“The Immigration Act of 1924 limited the number of immigrants allowed entry into the United States through a national origins quota. The quota provided immigration visas to two percent of the total number of people of each nationality in the United States as of the 1890 national census. It completely excluded immigrants from Asia.”
In our current posture, it is pretty clear the borders will be soon closed. Also, it is apparent that the mass deportation might be soon to come. The President-elect has stated he plans to deport millions.
It would take 41 years to correct 1924. It has resulted in the country we have today. But, that country, more than likely, will be tested in the coming four years or how many years. No one knows what lies ahead. People trying to enter the country now will likely have serious problems becoming “legal.”
