How to break free from depression, secret bad habits and addictions: Part 2

You are probably asking, from my previous post ‘Is my conscious evil or is the Law Evil? What does Adam and Eve got to do with me?’

It’s right to ask these questions.

As your parents are , so are you.

If your mum and dad are rich, you find yourself rich, if your mum and dad are poor, you find yourself poor. If your great grand ma and grand dad died when they were 10 years old, where would you be?

Adam is the first man, and God gave him enough fire power to start a race under the image of God. Well you know how the story goes. Either you like it or not, Adam is your dad, and whatever condition he feel in, affected you, the whole human race, and all of creation.

By Adam knowing what’s good and evil (The Law), the pressure to perform was now upon us. This was not the plan of God, God wanted you to live free from any pressure to perform.

Adam didn't get the 10 commandments, but that conscious of knowing good and evil is as good as the 10 commandments. This led him to fall way, and as Adam is under the Law, so are you. You fall away because the pressure to do is on you. You were not created for the Law.

You were created to be in paradise, ‘chilling’ and marvelling at the power and Love of God. You were designed to live forever in full provision, not working hard to provide for yourself, or defend yourself.

No Law No Offence

The bible says

[1]“Death gets its power to hurt (People) from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law.”

Meaning, for you to actually come away from that thing which is troubling, the Law and its demand must go. Yes, am talking about the 10 commandments and the condemning evil conscious.

Where there is no Law there is no Condemnation. Even when you sin there should be no reason to feel guilty, lousy or condemned, why? No Law broken.

[2]“….where there is no Law, there is no transgression”
[3]“For the Law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it. The only way to avoid breaking the Law is to have no Law to break!”

God has done an amazing thing. He has removed pressure from the human race to perform though Jesus Christ. He is not judging you, he loves you and wants you back.

How can you transgress God, when he has no Law basis to call something a transgression? I repeat myself again in case you didn't ‘get me’ the first time. The truth is that where there is no Law, there is no offence.

[4]“….but sin is not charged [against anyone] when there is no law [against it].”

The Law has been put on the shelf and is passing away. God offers Grace not punishment, Jesus not Moses.

How do addictions get broken? It’s by the Grace of God. His unmerited, undeserving, undemanding, ‘no question asked’ Favour.

Did you get that? He loves you unconditionally, and demands nothing from you, just trust him and let go of your efforts. Allow him to love you!

What Law, What Sin, What Offence? I am free!

As you behold Jesus through the goodness about his grace, you will be automatically transformed. Faith is impacted automatically.

Just confess the following:

“I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, He is my Saviour, and All my sins are forgiven Forever!!”

What Law condemns me, What Sin, What Offence? I am free!

This declaration breaks yokes! It is the absolute truth of the cross and why Jesus came.

Live and enjoy the peace of God. Jesus paid for it, and you cannot be condemned at all.

If you don’t believe me, just ask Jesus!

There is absolutely No condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because you have been saved from the Law of sin and Death (which includes the Old Testament commandments, and yes, the 10 commandments, written on stone). You are free to enjoy the power of the Holy Spirit.

This enjoyment will cause you to reign over every addiction, depression and sickness effortlessly.

1st Corinthians 15:56 emphasises that so where there is no Law, the struggle of sin has been taken away. So when people argue that Lawless leads to Lawlessness, they are wrong, it’s not true, they are not biblically correct.

Without the Law comes the Joy of salvation, the Gift of Righteousness, and the free gift of no-more condemnation.

Whenever you feel challenged or condemned, maybe you had a bad day, fell to that old behaviour or sin. Just ask yourself, what Law is there that condemns me? Truthfully, none. You will be met by a cold silence.

You don’t believe me? Romans 10:4 (I like the Good News Bible translation)

[4] For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God.

The Greek word for End here is ‘τέλος’ (transliteration Telos), which means reaching an end or aim of something. Basically this verse is saying that the Law was written only for Christ to fulfil, that all may become right with God by believing on him.

This is why Paul argues in Romans 8:33–34

‘Who will accuse God’s chosen people? And with which Law? God himself the writer of the Law declares us Not Guilty!!!’

What Law condemns me, What Sin, What Offence? I am free!

God really Loves you mate, more than you can imagine. Alloy him to comfort your heart and bring peace to your life.

Just say a short prayer and ask him, Lord Jesus, I consent to be saved, loved and cherished by you. Amen.

If you made this prayer just write back to me and tell me what happens.
