I totally agree with you; putting myself first is a prerequisite for taking good care of others. Only when I feel appreciated can I really have time and energy to appreciate others.
As for me, I’ve decided to set aside more time for cooking healthy meals, thinking quietly for myself and doing chores without procrastinating. These seemingly small habits will build up to be big at the end of this year. It will get my life more organized, give more time to think about myself and what I want in life and take care of my family and friends.
