I also looked into the connection of Yuji Ijiri´s work and the Ian Grigg Paper in 2005 a while ago, and found it confusing because they used the term “Tripple entry bookkeeping” but Yuji Ijiri says nothing about cryptography. I think momentum accounting is a very different concept. Thats probably the reason Grigg doesn't mention Ijiri.

I don't want to diminish Yuji Ijiri´s work, but I think it had very little influence on the development of Bitcoin.
