I really dislike the dumping of Bradley and Olynik for the Celtics, especially Bradley, however I understand the reasoning. AB is definitely a better/more valuable player than crowder or smart, but crowder and smart are locked in on salary cap friendly deals, whereas Bradley will be an unrestricted free agent next summer. So while they will miss Bradley, it was worth it to trade him to avoid having to pay him the big bucks next year or watch him leave for nothing. I really liked the Taytum + pick for Fultz trade at the time, and its really looking like a good move so far given Taytum’s excellent play in the summer league. We’ll know how good of a trade it was in a couple years.
