The Legends. Paying Homage.
As we draw extremely close to our launch it’s important to revisit our inspiration and pay homage to those that paved the way.
We pay respect where respect is due. 0xApes is on a mission to expand on a collection that we consider to be the kings of the Ethereum Blockchain. A collection that has become a sensation. BAYC has become a phenomenon that has transcended the realms of the internet and become a household name in the real world.
Forever mindful of this, we set out to honour and pay homage to the elite. We are a unique and separate collection to our BAYC brethren, but we are all too aware of the responsibility we carry in expanding on a culture that embodies greatness.
Different Tribe, Same Bloodline.
We have painstakingly deconstructed and reconstructed the original collection in its entirety paying close attention to refining the amazing artwork that BAYC has pioneered. With a fine-toothed comb, we have ensured that our collection is entirely unique, containing no duplicates in trait combinations. Highlighted by our distinctive yellow backdrop, there can be no confusion with the original tribe from which we were born.
Deconstructed > Reconstructed > Refined
This is an affordable expansion the world has been craving. An expansion that requires finesse, that requires attention to detail on a level that no derivative project has attempted or achieved. Perfection is the only acceptable way forward when honouring the innovators. So, this is the mission we have set out to achieve.
We must make mention of course, to our friends at Expansion Punks. We again, have no affiliation with the project but we hold the utmost respect towards them as innovators.
Expansion Punks are a project that truly embodies uniqueness, diversity, and growth. They are the leaders in expansion and have paved the way in a manner that epitomises how a derivative project should develop, honouring the originals whilst nurturing their own culture.
