HNG Internship: The Journey So far
Hi there, I’m Damilola Akinlade a Front end developer and a graduate of computer engineering. I came across this internship opening on the web and I applied as I was delighted to see the reviews.
I seek a challenging and rewarding internship that’ll make me a better front-end developer hence I applied for the HNG internship.
My goals for this internship are precise and hopefully attainable. Firstly, I hope to have a challenging internship with roles and tasks that will broaden my horizon and expand my creativity, productivity, and efficiency as a front-end developer. I wish to have access to mentors who’ll impact positively in the advancement of my career. Also, I hope to master interpersonal skills and build a network of contacts during the course of the internship. At the end of this internship, I want to be a more rugged web developer with enough skills and experience for a job role as a front-end developer.
I wanna talk briefly about certain technologies that are being utilized during the course of this internship.
Figma: A web-based graphics editing and user interface design app. You can use it to do all kinds of graphic design work from wireframing websites, designing mobile app interfaces, prototyping designs, crafting social media posts, and everything in between. You can get started on Figma here.
Git: A software for tracking changes in any set of files, usually used for coordinating work among programmers collaboratively developing source code during software development. You can get started on Git here.
HTML: This is the language for describing the structure of Web pages. HTML gives authors the means to Publish online documents with headings, text, tables, lists, photos, etc. Retrieve online information via hypertext links, at the click of a button. You can get started on HTML here.
JAVASCRIPT: This is a text-based programming language used both on the client-side and server-side that allows you to make web pages interactive.
