I’ve always found it extremely funny that those who’ve just come into crypto speak in absolutes. For their word is law, and it shall happen. You’ve just come into the space and yet you’re able to command the markets on where to go?
Ignorance and Arrogance.
Frog in the well. Ignore people like that. A closed mindset is the equivalent of being self-crippled in crypto.
It always baffles me when people refuse to go on X or Y chain because of an internally cultivated bias. Are you fucking allergic to money?
I don’t have the time or patience to explain shit to people like that anymore. More money for me.
At the same time, do not confuse my calls for an open mindset with tunnel vision. Know when you’ve made a bad play. Do not surround yourself with an insular culture. Know both sides of the argument.
A personal aside:
I’m comfortable making a single trade a month, and that’s often the case. I only trade high conviction plays. Why would you waste money on something that’s low conviction? Are you already rich? Many of our counterparts choose to treat crypto as gambling. Don’t. I’m here for the long haul and I hope you are aswell.
Crypto is a game of information asymmetry. To taint information with your unjustified biases and misgivings is extremely foolish. Don’t refuse to look at something just because of an arbitrary reason. All information must be processed in the same way, although interpretations are entirely up to you. I choose to be largely narrative-driven.
You cannot bash your head at the wall 500 times and expect a different result each time. Hone your craft. Those who learn from each experience will prosper. For their journey is a long and fruitful one.
