Photon Sol — Fastest Solana Trading Webapp

Unlike Trojan or Bonkbot, Photon is not a Telegram bot. It currently has only webclient, which you can access here. The benefit of webclient is the speed it provides. Photon is by far the fastest bot of all the current Solana Trading Bots on the market. This article is an overview of Photon Sol and a tutorial on how to use it.

New pairs view
Arguably the best feature of Photon is the “NEW PAIRS” view. From here you can quickly see newly launched coins and even quick buy (similarly to Dexscreener for example). Filtering allows you to customize the view to your liking.
Trending
Another view you can access is trending. Again, very similar view to Dextools, or Dexscreener.
You have multiple options on how to filter the view, depending on what you are aiming to buy.

From Leaderboard you can see your points and ranking.
Creating a wallet and funding it
Once you go to Photon Sol and connect your phantom wallet, you will be prompted to Photon trading wallet creation screen:
Please note: Your private key will only be showed once! So make sure you copy it somewhere.
Transfering funds
By clicking the top right corner to your wallet you will see your transfer funds page:
You can easily deposit or withdraw SOL from you Photon trading wallet to your Phantom wallet.
Trading with Photon Sol
Like with any Solana trading tool, buying starts with pasting the contract address. Above you can see an example from $WIF. The trading view display dexcreener-like view with buy and sell option. Below the chart you can see all your current trades and by cliking the ticker you can change between chart views of different tokens. You will also see your profi/loss in real-time.
Speed of Photon Sol
As mentioned already, Photon Sol is by far the fastest trading method on solana as of April 2024. Not only are the transactions many times faster than on some other bots, but maybe even more importantly, the chart data you see is between 5–10 seconds ahead of Dexscreener. You can actually test this yourself. Open Dexscreener of any token and open the same token in Photon Sol. Take note of big sells/buys you see in Photon and time how long it will take for you to see the same big buy or sell in Dexscreener. The difference is surprising.
Having a small edge, even a small one like 5 seconds is huge, especially if you are sniping launches. But you can also use this speed to your advantage on big dumps (which tend to happen on meme coins). I have used Photon Sol to snipe big fast pull-packs multiple times. This is something that is near impossible with Telegram bots due to the extra few seconds of lag they have.
Trading fees
Speed is not free. With a fee of 1 % on every trade, Photon is twice as expensive as some of the other Telegram bots out there. This is how Photon explains their fees on their documentation:
Sharing your winnings & referral system
Photon Sol has one of the best P&L share screens of all the bots, although it is just my personal opinion:
You can also refer your friends to use Photon Sol. You get points based on the referred trading volume, which you can track.
Using Photon on mobile
You do have an option to use Photon thorugh your phone. You can scan QR code and open your account with a security code:
Conclusion
If speed is what you are after and you don’t mind higher fees, use Photon. Even if I don’t trade with Photon I usually use it just look at the charts because it is so much faster than Dexscreener. UI is also intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend Photon Sol for all the degens out there.
