Key features of Trojan

Trojan represents a significant leap forward, delivering a trading experience that is both seamless and user-friendly, directly through Telegram. Born from the ambition to empower users with state-of-the-art trading functionalities and excellent UX through Telegram.

  1. Basic Buy/Sell Orders: Trojan allows users to place buy and sell orders directly through their Telegram Bot. Users can specify the token they want to buy or sell, the amount they wish to trade, and the desired price level.
  2. Limit Orders: With Trojan, users can set limit orders to execute trades at specific price levels. This feature enables traders to enter the market at their desired prices, helping them minimizing the need for constant monitoring.
  3. Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) Orders: DCA orders enable users to automate their investment strategy by regularly purchasing a specified amount of a particular token over time, regardless of price fluctuations. Trojan allows users to set up DCA orders, helping them accumulate assets gradually and potentially reduce the impact of market volatility
  4. Copy Trading: Trojan offers copy trading functionality, allowing users to copy-trade any solana wallet.
  5. LP Sniper (soon): this feature is currently in beta testing on selected users as of writing this article
  6. ETH-SOL Bridge: Trojan facilitates cross-chain trading between Ethereum and Solana blockchains through its ETH-SOL bridge feature. This allows users to access liquidity and trade assets across both ecosystems seamlessly. The bridge enables users to swap Ethereum-based tokens (ERC-20) with Solana-based tokens (SPL) and vice versa, expanding their trading opportunities and access to different blockchain networks.
  7. Pump.fun support. Trojan also support tokens that have been created at pump.fun, just paste the contract address you find in pump.fun to Trojan to trade them.

Step 1: Getting started with Trojan — setting up your Solana wallet

The first step in utilizing Trojan is to have a Solana wallet in order to fund the Trojan wallet. Popular choices among users include Phantom and Solflare, known for their user-friendly interfaces and robust security features.

Download and install your chosen wallet from the official website or app store. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet. Remember to safely store your seed phrase; it’s your key to accessing your funds.

You can also fund your Trojan wallet from an exchange such as Binance, but it is recommended to also have a Solana wallet in order to move funds around easier.

Step 2: Initiating Trojan on Telegram

With your wallet ready and funded, it’s time to engage with Trojan. Open Trojan on telegram. Start a chat with the bot by clicking on the “Start” button. This action initiates the bot and prepares it for your trading commands.

Step 3: Depositing Solana (SOL) to Trojan wallet

Before you can trade, you need to deposit some SOL into Trojan wallet. The bot provides a unique address to which you can send SOL from your wallet (blacked out section in the image above). Tap on the link to copy this address. Next, open your Solana wallet app, select “Send,” and paste the Trojan deposit address. Enter the amount of SOL you wish to deposit and confirm the transaction. This SOL will be used to fund your trades through Trojan.

You can also fund your Trojan from an exchange such as Binance, but it is recommended to also have a Solana wallet in order to move funds around easier.

Step 4: Buying tokens

With funds in your Trojan account, you’re ready to trade. To buy a token, paste the token’s address into the chat with Trojan. The bot will promptly display a “Buy” button. Clicking this button will open a menu where you can specify the amount of SOL you wish to spend on the token.

By clicking “Buy X SOL” you can set custom amount of SOL you want to use to purchase targeted token. It is also possible to change the default purchasing amounts from settings (1 and 5 SOL in image above)

You have three buying options for each token; Swap, Limit and DCA.

Swap = regular swap, which swaps the tokens within your Slippage percentage

Limit = limit order, which allows you to set a price at which a buy order is triggered. Quick tip: you can use percentages, so for example if you want to buy a token when it comes down -30 % in price, you can send “- 30 %” and it will count the trigger price for you, in this example 3.3 USD (current trading price for $WIF as of trading this article 4.74 USD 👀)

Setting up trigger price with percentages

DCA = Dollar Cost Average, which allows you set an automated buying (or selling). You will set the amount of SOL to buy or sell, the interval when the bot buys and the duration of how long the bot will buy or sell. In addition to this you can set Minimum price and Maximum price for the given token.

As an example, I could set a trade that will buy 1 SOL worth of $WIF every 10 minutes for the next hour, as long as the price is Above 4 dollars and below 3 dollars.

This feature comes in handy when doing swing trading on meme coins. Imagine you are in a situation where you want to buy a meme but only after a pullback of 30 %. But since you are a human you actually have to sleep sometimes (annoying, right?). Well set a DCA order and sleep like a baby. The bot will buy/sell if the conditions you set are fulfilled.

This feature is also great for taking profits. Yes I am talking to you, who is 10x on a meme coin and hoping it will do another 10x. TAKE PROFITS.

Step 5: Managing and selling your positions on Trojan

After purchasing tokens, Trojan allows you to manage your positions effectively. You can view your current profit, the value of your holdings in USD and SOL, and other relevant data to inform your trading decisions

(Extra) Step 6: Wallet copy trading on Solana with Trojan

Unlike many other Telegram trading bots, Trojan has working copy-trading feature. All you need is a wallet you want to copy-trade and 2 minutes.

CopyTrade view on Trojan

In order to create a copy trade, navigate to Copy Trade section of Trojan and click the “+” symbol in order to create a new wallet to copy trade. You will be shown this view:

trojan copywallet
Targeting wallet to copy trade

You will set a name for the wallet (i.e. WIF EARLY BUYER) set the traget solana wallet and set gas fees and slippages. The most important setting is “Buy percentage”. You can set a percentage to copy trade OR you can set a specific amount of SOL for each trade.

So your buy setting can be:

50 % → target wallet buys with 10 SOL, bot will buy with 5 SOL

1 → target buys with 10 SOL, bot will buy with 1 SOL

Please note: copy trading like this is not bullet proof. Biggest risk you ar running (apart from the wallet you are copying being an idiot) is that when the bot copy buys/sells a token, it can fail due to slippage and for general Solana network slowness. This is not necessarily a problem when buying, but it might be a bigger issue when selling

(Extra) Step 7: Referral system of Trojan

You can invite friends to trade and earn based on their fees. Current Trojan referral system is as follows:

Invite your friends to save 10% on fees. If you’ve traded more than $10k volume in a week you’ll receive a 35% share of the fees paid by your referrees! Otherwise, you’ll receive a 25% share.

You must have accrued at least 0.005 SOL in unpaid fees to be eligible for a payout.

Conclusion

I have written a more detailed comparison between other Solana Telegram trading bots, and the key takeaway is that Trojan is definitely the best all around Telegram tarding bot out there (currently). Trojan doesn’t have the most features or supported chains (that goes probably to Maestrobot), nor is it the fastes (that goes to Photon) but it does have many key features like limit and DCA orders that Photon Sol, BONKbot and Banana Gun Bot are missing.

Trojan is also a fighting hard to become a market leader in Solana Telegram trading bots with its growing volume and userbase:
