I really enjoyed this. It was a quick read but made a lot of sense in my mind. I think to often people blame their circumstances for not being as successful as they would like to be. I think it’s easy to fall in this trap. It’s easy to look around and say well I didn’t succeed because of him, her or that. I didn’t reach my goal because I had to do this or that. It’s important to just always push yourself to be better and not worry about others. Focus on yourself. Ask yourself what did I do well and what could I have done better? Be honest with yourself. Constantly try to improve yourself.

I loved the part about successful people focusing on what they can control and taking the blame for themselves. As a leader my mindset is as stuff happens that’s positive its we if it’s negative it’s me. It’s important to focus on yourself rather than try to blame others or find fault in what they did. What did I do in order to succeed?

I think one of the biggest things is simply having a positive attitude. Your attitude will determine your altitude. If you choose to focus on what you can control and do your very best with what you’ve got you will be happy. If you’re happy you will function better. If you function better you are more likely to be successful.

I also think it’s important to have a good balance and to go about things the right way. To be able to recognize what you could do better doesn’t mean to bag on yourself. You shouldn’t be tearing yourself down. You should however be striving to learn from your past and work on becoming better in a positive way. Enjoy your life and enjoy the progress you make!
