The thick brows of his are nicely trimmed, in a perfect arch akin to the trace that a chisel knife would make on wet clay. His eyes are comparable with the brown quartz that artists would have used during the High Renaissance, sparkling under the sun. Gray has an aquiline nose, giving a hint of resemblance to a less exaggerated version of David the statue. His cherry-red lips are certainly the most alluring feature of his well-defined visage; they showcase the signature quality of this outstanding Italian artist’s work. Gray’s lips have clear lines but are also carriers of emotions, as if in Michelangelo’s art pieces, every curve represents different meanings. On the other hand, Gray’s slender physique also fits the beauty standard of the Renaissance. Artists back then didn’t pursue an overly skinny body build but placed more emphasis on realistic body shapes. The charcoal gray knitting vest and the plaid pleated skirt are incarnations of feminine temperament, which is the true quality he is never afraid to manifest.
