Reflection on Web Development during the school year 2016–2017

I really thought web development was going to be really hard. I would have been looking at words that didn’t make any sense to me. I would be looking at p and h3 and think what the heck is this thing?! At the beginning of the year I would’ve told you I was going to fail this class with an F because I wouldn’t have known what to do. Going into the year it was very challenging trying to comprehend what each element meant and also learning Javascript because I didn’t know how to function things (HA! Again a js joke) When we had Ms. Torneros and Mr. Tan as a teacher when learning CSS and HTML was a lot of fun. I was able to learn how each div is like a box and in each box you use CSS to make it stylish (I think this counts as a joke?). At the end I feel so smart when I talk to my parents about how I learned to code. It’s amazing I was able to help finalize a game for our project.

WHOA I’M A JR DEVLEAGUEr?? I thought I was just learning code in a class! I feel honored that I was able to be able to learn from Devleague. I feel so proud that I was able to call that. Coding is so much fun when I’m able to understand what is happening. I would like to learn more about coding but I wouldn’t have it as a passion of mine. If other people wanted to join coding I would tell them to search things up if they don’t know what to do. It won’t help to copy and paste things from the internet so you should find out how things work. I’m so glad I was able to take this class and learn from people from DevLeague. My teachers help me so much to understand. I was able to learn it’s okay to ask for help while coding because if not we could mess up our code. My friends in my class were able to help me also code in the beginning. I’m so glad I took this class and was able to learn so much! Thank you DevLeague!!!!! ❤❤❤
