WOW, what an email to get: it really woke me up this morning when I read it. I was drinking my hot tea and totally dropped it on my lap. Thankfully it had cooled down so I did not spill anything scalding onto myself. (I’m such a klutz.) I had a few questions for you regarding your weekend party. It sounds like a lot of fun and I wanted to make sure that I had my facts correct before I proceeded to register on the website you mention, www.localundergroundsexparties.biz. I just don’t want to be spammed or anything!
First, I know Labor Day isn’t until September and I wanted to make sure that the party was still going. I don’t really have my week scheduled let alone my September: this may be really far ahead in advance. Do you have a weekend open that is sooner than Labor Day? I would love to come out and “play” at some weekend soon. During the day is better for me as I usually have dinner plans on Saturday evenings and work most Sundays.
Second, where is this? I know it’s probably mentioned somewhere on the website but I saw that you are based in Illinois. I’m in Southern California so that would be a bit of a trek for me if it’s actually in Skokie. That would be a bummer! I don’t want to miss this. Is it a traveling affair? Is this like sexual Tupperware parties? That’d be so entrepreneurial of you!
Third, who exactly will be there? I know you said single men and women and couples but how do they self identify in terms of gender, what are their sexual orientations, and what are their personal beliefs on monogamy, polygamy, polysexuality, etc. I’m all for an old fashion orgy but I want to check in on this as I am a gay male in a relationship. If I’m going to go balls to the walls with some balls that are not my boyfriend’s, I’d like to at least know that there are men who are within my purview: that would be great. I’m not looking to be with someone sexually long term (This is purely for experiential fun.) but I wanted to know if there are gay males involved. If they happen to have fur, be over 5'11", have a belly, and don’t smoke, that’d be great ;) I didn’t see any in the pictures though.
Fourth, is everyone tested? I’ve been monogamous for a long time and I wouldn’t want anything to happen in relationship to this. Don’t want any junk on my trunk!
Lastly, who took those photos on your website? I’d love to see more of the photographer’s work and maybe hire him or her for personal projects should he or she be a local. I’m an artist/creative/writer type and could find him or her to be quite useful.
Looking forward to this! What an early Spring surprise. I’m very excited (But don’t have a boner.) about this. I had an orgy in college with my first boyfriend and this Scandanavian man who was in town to consult on a play we were both in and it ended up ruining our relationship. It was sad. That’s why I have so many questions about this, I guess. Orgies and swinging can be complicated. I want to do this right.
