Street Food and Cancer
Street foods can cause a number of diseases. As you can know from the best oncologist, some types of street foods can even cause cancer. The following are some types of street foods and their relation with cancer:

1. Deep Fried Food
On heating the oil during the preparation of deep-fried foods, potentially carcinogenic compounds can generate. Known carcinogens such as heterocyclic amines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons form when the muscles of chickens and fish are cooked on that temperature. A chemical called acrylamide is found in deep-fried food items such as French fries. The levels of acrylamide in food may vary depending on the manufacturer, the cooking time and the method and temperature of the cooking process. It has been found that the risk of several types of cancer increase due to acrylamide exposure.
2. Food Containing Sugar
There are large amounts of sugar in some street foods that are sweet in taste. As cancer cells love sugar, these food items can cause cancer. For anyone trying to prevent or reverse cancer, such food items are very dangerous. Sugar, which feeds the tumours, encourages cancer growth. Cancer cells update sugar at about 10–12 times the rate of healthy cells.
