Most of us grew up with Oprah Winfrey. Our parents were watching her back when she had a show, and they might still watch her stuff on OWN. You might watch her stuff on OWN. Maybe you or someone you know reads her magazine. I mean, she was a meme sometimes ago so even if you didn’t grow up with her, you know of her somehow.

Probably as the lady who gives away things for free on her talk show because she’s a billionaire and a queen.

You know: “You get a car, you get a car, you get a car!” She’s famous for her generosity and building schools while spreading awareness of important topics.

One of those important topics is the Law of Attraction.

Oprah Winfrey grew up struggling. She was poor and didn’t have much to give anyone — not even herself — at one time. She also had to deal with abusive parents and grandparents, being forced to sleep on the porch as a child. But Oprah knew she was meant for big things. She believed it with all of her heart. So even though her reality told her she wouldn’t amount to anything, her soul blazed with the knowledge that she was and is special.

So, Oprah pursued her dreams. And she worked hard. But she didn’t just work hard; she also worked smart. Oprah used her talents to her advantage, using her charisma to charm the television world, and she utilized spirituality and manifestation techniques to achieve success. She was a visualizer and vision-board maker.

Oprah affirmed to herself that she was worth great things, and so, of course, when you tell yourself a story over and over again, it becomes true. And it did.

The darling woman became the world’s first self-made, Black, female billionaire. She manifested opportunities for herself long before she had a name for herself.

Oprah likes telling the story of how she became a part of The Color Purple. She was a mega, huge fan of the book and would even go so far as to try to introduce strangers on the bus to the renowned novel. And she knew she’d act in the movie if it ever became a thing. She knew to her core and because she knew, it happened.

One of the producers of the show saw her on her talk show before she was a household name and felt a connection with her for the role she had coveted, pined for, wanted for so long. She manifested herself into a movie role, and she did it intentionally and with pride.

In the interview for A Wrinkle In Time, the interviewer tells Oprah that she manifested meeting her, as the talk show goddess was on her vision board. Oprah celebrated by giving her a hug, and Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, and the interviewer began to talk about manifestation and vision boards.

Oprah used to do vision boards, but in the interview she stated that she had stopped. Why?

“I’m a powerful manifestor,” she said, with her whole chest, with her heart, with her soul. She inspired me to get a desk name plaque with that quote on it because, yes, she is a powerful manifestor, and so am I, and so are you.

Oprah sets the precedent in manifesting because she’s grown so wise with all of her successes, but her results are replicable. And she encourages people to follow her lead and create the lives they desire. That’s one of the things she teaches to dreamers everywhere. To be doers, but to stay dreamers as they’re doing.

She’s the epitome of manifesting success, and she educates people to be the same. So follow her cues and rule the world, just like she did. The primetime queen went from impoverished to the one percent of the world, all because she believed. And she knows that you can accomplish anything you set out to do, if you start by setting out to do it.
