It’s been about 3 years since you wrote this article, and Pewdiepie has come a long way. He now was about 73.4 million subscribers, which is astounding to think about. It’s even crazier to think that he built his career by himself. However, he is not infallible and has had his controversies. Some of them are mistakes. Other times the media purposefully misinterpreting some of his sarcastic heavy content. Unfortunately, since many companies have started to use YouTube as a platform he is being pushed out of the way from the number one spot by a company by the name of T-Series. T-Series is an Indian company that makes music videos and uploads film trailer. Now T-Series is just a couple of hundred thousand subscribers from taking over the number one spot. However, it is not really fair because it’s just one man against a whole corporate entity with thousands of people and whole teams of editors. While Pewdiepie has just himself and a few others. Honestly, youtube needs to have different sections, one where corporate companies can be found and one where actual content creators like Pewdiepie, Markiplier or nigahiga (Ryan Higa) can be found. Hopefully, Youtube can come up with a solution so that content creators won’t be drowned out by the larger companies that upload to YouTube.
