Futurama : Assie Come Home!

Remark: This is an opinion, you can’t bring out to apply for any reference!

“ What is truly yours will eventually be yours,
(and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be) ”

That phrase above popped me after I watched this episode of Futurama named “Assie Come Home” Oh yes, Assie you already come back home!

Assie is a slang word of “Ass” in the other word you’ve already know for “Bottom” then you need more slang? Fine, it also means “Butt” instead.

Plot: Planet Express crews have to deliver a crate of weapons to “the planet of gangs, thugs, and hustlers”. Aftermath Bender has only eyes and mouth left.

The mission of finding missing pieces of Bender such as head, arms, legs, and body either included the significantly part “Ass” it seems a heart of him starts!

Ok, then I skip and we must talk about the point! Now Bender got his parts back except his “heart” or we can call it for “Assie”. Let’s help him find out!

The statement from police shows his Assie is sinking under Sargaseous Sea. This “sea” is actually a nebula, but traveling there is like sailing an ocean: asteroids rise from dense fog like icebergs, and ships can sink. (https://theinfosphere.org/Assie_Come_Home)

The Sargaseous Sea has only one lighthouse to navigate entire ships and its light is not abundant to clearly vision for every advent like Planet Express.

This guy (who wear a yellow suit in the picture above) help them to find Assie or we know Bender’s heart then they gonna dive into under this danger sea.

Finally, Bender got his Ass back with the word of “You completed me” it’s sound so good, huh? Unfortunately, this is not the end the issue just starts.

Now you imagine about how hard to traveling in that shit nebula, they need a lighter lighthouse, isn’t it? Nor your ship will sink then you die under the sea?

Meanwhile, the another ship is traveling in this nebula, btw captain of that ship Hologram call to the lighthouse for “Thank you” a light that helps them clearly vision, how the fuck happened?? Fine, now make it obviously.

That light which rescued that ship from hazard situation was “Assie” that is an interaction with camera’s flash! when Fry and Bender take photographs!

They found Assie what lighter than the former lighthouse, for humankind, for safety, for clarity vision or whatever. What’s the best way should they do?

The yellow suit guy (lighthouse keeper) want his Assie to instead the old one but you exactly know Bender will not accept, and if it were you? Acceptance?

Let’s make this quick. Bender accepts to left his Shiny Assie at the lighthouse. That make he quite sorrows. There, How hard to admit?

*Broke my heart again*

After he came back without his Assie, from the journey of finding out his last piece. He is never as the same. He looks very sad and pity. Oh, my dear…

One day, Assie was shaken in the wrong rotate, faster and faster and finally out of control. It came out from the lighthouse and into the universe!

At the same time, Bender who sorrows with his missing piece. *cry*

As I said at first “What is truly yours will eventually be yours,” is it so true?

If this is a fairy tale, yes it completely sweet as prince and princess charming, right? But this is Futurama, so Everything (must) happens for a reason.

Do you wonder, where’s those fireworks come from? They’re from the nebular that Assie from. Yes, the Sargaseous Sea, the danger one. Icebergs exploded!

What a lovely episode! I really relax with the way of ending . So sweet tho :-)

(and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be) how do you think?

It makes me think about “Determinism” in Philosophy (it is not necessary here to bring out who is creator this theory) “However it happens, it will become the same result” and can we analogy this with our love story? Sure!

As Bender’s Ass (aka “Assie”) with it owner “Bender”. They have separated for a while and finally they get back to each other. Is this deterministic?

Let’s clearly about “deterministic” : For me it just the future/result that we exactly not to know, it had written by whoever, we can’t change it anyway.(IMO if you can accept, you will decrease your expectation, it quite good!)

I don’t think I’m a good at love advisor, btw many friends come to me for this reason. I can’t ignore them, so I give them of advice that I think it matters.

“I can’t live without him” or “I will die if he was gone” phrases I always heard from a broken heart girl. You just calm down, dear and study more about life.

If you conversely realized this is a “Deterministic”, it will make you better? 
It had written. You just let it go, can you admit it? According to my girls “No”

I don’t know how to cure these problems correctly. I can only give an advice in rational “it happens for a reason” somehow again, it had written “At first he abandoned you and you will meet the right one instead” or “Maybe he will come back if he is truly yours” as Bender and Assie — Please, I’m not a therapist.

A Question is How do you think about “Soulmate”? Is it absurd? Or not?
