Aaron Corbett brings a multitude of diversified skills to the table. Whether you need his electrical knowledge or his captivating singing voice, Aaron is the guy for the job. A senior in electrical engineering, Aaron is interning in the Thermo King division of Ingersoll Rand. They’re a world leader in manufacturing and innovating transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications like trains, ships, and automobiles. He’s working in the electrical components group to validate a new type of power inverter to be placed on semi trucks.

Electrical work isn’t Aaron’s only passion. For the past 4 years, he’s been a member of Purdue’s Varsity Glee Club. He’s not only a hard worker, but also an active member in his community — a true InternStar.

What’s your X-factor?
“I have a strong technical base to accompany my engineering skills. I worked in a car shop in high school and that gave me a solid technical background. So when I came to college, I knew what the application of engineering and the results of bad engineering was before I learned how to do it. This gave me a different perspective than most as I pursued my degree.”

What’s your life motto?
“We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.”

What’s your life goal?
“My goal in life is to be a part of something that has a huge impact on the world in a better way. I’ll die happy if I know that my contributions to a invention or discovery helped make the world a better place to live.”
