Ramsey Bradke, Shell Oil & Gas HR Intern

With a life motto of “Live with wolves and you will learn to howl,” you know Ramsey Bradke is a force to reckon with from the start. Last summer, Bradke worked for Shell Oil & Gas in their Upstream Unconventional division as the HR account manager for Permian & Appalachia assets. Working for an account to improve performance management & compensation practices for over 90 hourly workers and 15 supervisors, this InternStar had to consistently be on his A-game. To raise the bar even further, he also worked with the engagement process of 450 expatriates that Shell currently has hired. Read below to hear more about Bradke’s insight into his experiences.

What’s your X-factor?

“My X-factor is that I am relentless at building strong relationships at a personal & professional level; I also am always looking for opportunities to take positions of leadership & speak publicly.”

What’s something that you now know about Shell that you didn’t know before you started working there?

“The number one skill I have learned from Shell is how to deliver through others. Successful and efficient business implementation comes from knowing who your stakeholders are, leveraging their strengths, and combining skill sets to achieve a goal.”
