The Curious Case of Too Many Launchers

This is so accurate, it’s only making content access more confounding for users to manage all thier gaming and software. Sadly it’s not the only industry taking this path, as the practice is bleeding over into other mediums, as it seems every other media network and tech company is launching thier own streaming service, device, and apps. It’s burdening users with too many sources for content, with increased complexity, making entertainment difficult to discover and consume. Instead it’s growing exponentially more convoluted. Eventually the market will be so saturated — and the cracks are already showing — that the consumers will fatigue and companies will need to either consolidate a great number of these services once again, or simply sunset them from lack of adoption.
