Gorky Drama Theatre

Strolling through the city, you will surely notice the building of the Gorky Theatre. The fairytale structure, made from red bricks with carved parts from white stone, and towers with tetrahedral pyramidal roofs, repeat the best traditions of Old Russian boyar mansions. There is a small but cozy Pushkin Garden behind the theatre, with original sculptures and the truly-magnificent sight of the Volga and gilded cupolas of Iversky Convent.
