A golden retriever attacked alligator to protect his master in Charles river

An alligator attack happened in the Charles river early this Wednesday morning. A boston residence John smith and his seven-year-old golden retriever- Hank, was having their regular morning swimming routine in the river, while an alligator appear to attack them.

While Smith was on his way back to shore, Hank jumped into the water to attack a 15 foot alligator. The attack didn’t last too long as when Hank made his way back to the shore, according to Smith, they found 17 stitches in his back left leg, otherwise there’s no major injuries to Hank.

“He’s my best friend and I will never go swimming without him.” said Smith.
