July 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of 15 Romolo’s founding. We are celebrating two decades of connecting community with culture, history, art, and ideas.
The 20 year anniversary marks an important milestone for our bar as we look back on our incredible heritage of talent and accomplishments. 15 Romolo is continually investing in new generations of talented staff and we continue to celebrate long-term business relationships with our valued guests.

The time of year has come to polish our wine glasses, inventory the sherry cellar and align our kitchen and bar creations. We are so excited to kick off International Sherry Week with our outrageous tapas menu and stupendous libations.
Our kitchen continues to reach new heights, and we are thrilled with our new dinner menu, featuring Goat Cheese and Spinach Croquetas, a crowd favorite paired with Colosia Fino.
Our Suckling Pig with squash and mushrooms, meanwhile, is beautifully paired with Leonore Palo Cortado.

With the start of a new season, 15 Romolo team came up with an array of new cocktails and food menu. The refreshing menu celebrates the warmer weather by incorporating in-season ingredients and our favorite flavors from Spain.
Either for an early or late dinner, our Spring menu embraces a simple combination of small plates to enjoy with a glass of sherry or our freshly harvest cocktails and exceptional entrees.
15 Romolo has long celebrated new and established tradition. 2016 is a very special year for us because we mark our 5th year of Sherry Christmas! During International Sherry Week each year, we release our holiday season menu with everything inspired by sherry! Our team of bartenders, cooks, Chef Michele Matthews and sommelier Ian Adams put together their creative hearts and talents to deliver a top notch holiday menu.
Five years ago, 15 Romolo leapt into the sunshine opening the doors to our North Beach neighbors for a boozy brunch. Punch Drunk Brunch brought us new inspiration and excitement, igniting the neighborhood legacy of The Basque Hotel at 15 Romolo.
That inspiration carries on with each generation of Romolo team members adding their own signature to the program. Chef Michelle Matthews brings her strong technical skills to the robust menu with items like the Spring Vegetable Fricassee with wild mushrooms and quinoa, as well as the new Brunch Board. Who says you can’t have charcuterie for breakfast?
We’re now featuring a bounty of freshly harvested cocktails. Get your shrub on with the Gardener’s Flask, featuring pot still gin, blanc vermouth and celery bitters. Feeling strong? Man of the Year stirs up a variation on an El Presidente cocktail, with a blend of dark rums, dry curaçao and house grenadine. Or choose to walk the line with Lady Danger and her California citrus gin, quinquina and strawberry tincture.
