Comprehensive Academy: Aliyah’s death is a shock!

In this savory moment in the history of the our dear citadel of learning, Comprehensive Academy, I appreciate everyone who stood by the school and management in this critical time.

I also send our heart felt messages to the family of our dear student, Aliyah Ahmed who passed away recently, may God be with the family and console them.

The teachers, entire management and I , Wale Bello really embittered by the rumor going in the air that the school has used *Aliyah* for money ritual.

This is statement is not only derogatory but also injurious to the lives of other students in the school but coming from human angle , the family of deceased has the provocative right to talk like this especially when one is emotionally tortured.

Aliyah had seizure and slumped around 7am on Tuesday, 26th of March,2024 while preparing for their tutorial class ahead of their WAEC and JAMB Examinations. Immediately she fell , her colleagues who were in the tutorial class surrounded her and removed the chair that fell on her and brought her up.

I immediately sought the help of other students who took her to the restroom for first aid treatment where she regained her consciousness at this point, I had to call her parents before her parents came she hard already woken up and the parents took her to the state hospital at Ijaye .

I would not know what happened there but she was later transferred to another hospital at Lafenwa and continuously prayed for her. Later they took her to first Alpha Hospital where she was confirmed dead . In fact I was shocked when the operatives of DSS invited me for questioning .

The DSS officers also invited some students of the school to their office and interrogated them . I was surprised to hear some revelations that I was not privy to .

The history of school has always been a great one to the immediate community and Nigeria at large. Our antecedence is a potent parameter to measure, accentuate and contrast the scenario in which we find ourselves today.

Having said these , I need to say that we have never indulged in occult practices or belong to any ungodliness that could warrant using an innocent, such a promising child for ritual.

It is pathetic that this matter is linked to the school that has stood the test of time refining, redeeming and giving lives to children in Ogun state.

We want to remember Aliya forever , we are going to immortalize her , we have many things we can name after her because she was a good child.

The Ministry of Education officers have also been in the school. We do not have skeleton in our cupboard. We are always ready to assist in further investigation.

Thus, the management and I regret any inconveniences this may have caused the entire publics..

To the internal and external publics of Comprehensive Academy, this is hard time we have to face it together and overcome.

We therefore implore the publics to stay clam , pray for us in this hard time and ignore all intrusive thoughts shared against the school.
