Glenview Rock House Logo

The Rock house here in Glenview has been here for a couple of years now. The Rock House is a place to go on weekend nights for karaoke night, live music acts, and a place to stay for a coffee. There is only thing that is not quite perfect about it which is the logo. The logo is just 2 words that don’t quite show that the place is a music house.

I took a shot and made a logo that I think would fit better.

Sketch

I sketched out a few ideas of what I imagined the logo to be. I imagined a logo that would express a feeling of rock n’ roll and a music theme to it. .

Draft

I then brought the three logos into illustrator to bring try and create the best of a logo I could. I created a logo that had a rock and roll feeling for after all it is called The Rock House, a logo that had a feeling that you could just stay there, a logo that seemed like rock n’ roll is like from a Roman era, a logo that was just an R that was plain and simple, and finally a logo that had an electric guitar because it is a house of Rock n’ roll.

Final Result

In the end of all this hard work, I picked out a logo that expressed what I imagined would bring a lively atmosphere and a sense of community. I picked this logo because I though that the colors were vibrant and eye-opening. I used the guitar to show the focus of music and the customers talents.
