Life, like most things, has its ebbs and flows.

Some weeks, you might feel like everything in your life is in order and you have got it all figured out. The next week, though, might end up being the worst week of your life.

This chaos of life can sometimes feel unmanageable. However, there is something that you can do to mitigate the chaos: live a balanced life.

Day #26 (12/10/2022)

“The aim is to balance the terror of being alive with the wonder of being alive.”

— Carlos Castaneda

Closing Thoughts

This year, my life has been relatively hectic. I graduated from college, moved home, started a full-time job, picked programming back up, started writing blogs, and signed a lease for an apartment. Although it has been a busy year, I have still managed to keep a healthy balance between family, friends, and work.

Keeping this healthy balance is something that I like to hold myself to. No matter how busy I might be (during a given week), I still make efforts to see or call my family, hang out with friends, and be productive at work.

If your life feels unbalanced, do what you can to to rebalance it. Trust me, your mental health will thank you.
