365 Days of Python: Day #7 — Whopping Week
The concept of time is a funny thing.
If I had 2 more hours in a day, then I would be able to get so much more accomplished.
I have the above thought on a daily basis. In reality, though, having 2 more hours in a day would not do me much good. It might for the first couple of days; however, after a week or so passed, I would be accomplishing the same amount that I was accomplishing with 24 hours at my disposal.
Throughout my life, I have been a serial procrastinator. In turn, my brain has trained itself to work harder as a deadline gets closer.
Does that mean that I actually want 2 less hours in a day?
Not particularly. I would not be able to program, read, or spend time with my family. My life would consist of working, eating, and sleeping.
With that, I challenge you to take a look at your daily schedule. Are you spending too much time on social media? Are you not leaving enough time to see your friends and family? Are you sacrificing free time to work overtime at your job?
These are all questions that I have asked myself in the past. It can be difficult to critique yourself, but it is necessary to do so in order to have a fulfilling life.
