365 Days of Python: Day #73 — Meticulous Maintenance
Did your pipes burst?
Did the power in your house go out?
Is your A/C unit not working?
All of these problems have a simple solution: call a maintenance worker to fix whatever is wrong.
However, when everything is going right, maintenance workers are completely forgotten about.
On top of being overlooked, these trades can be incredibly taxing both physically and mentally. Not all maintenance work is as easy as unclogging a drain or resetting a breaker. Some maintenance work takes hours and can be painfully meticulous.
Day #73 (1/26/2023)
“Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance.”
— Kurt Vonnegut

Closing Thoughts
I must admit that my appreciation for maintenance workers did not come to fruition until I started interacting with them on a weekly basis.
From my experience with them, I have come to realize that they are the backbone of any operation (whether it be commercial or residential).
And with that, I encourage you to thank a maintenance worker if you see one. I can almost guarantee that they rarely hear those words from their customers.
