365 Days of Python: Day #88 — Short Stories

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been reading a book titled Asimov’s Mysteries. And if you are an astute science-fiction reader, then you might already know who the book’s short stories are written by: Isaac Asimov.

Albeit impressive, this blog is not to go into the life and success of the book’s author. Rather, it is to go into the importance of short stories.

Unlike a full-length book, a short story give its reader the ability to read its entirety in one sitting.

And if you momentarily lose your passion for reading (like I sometimes do), then reading a short story can be the perfect way to kick start that once burning passion.

Day #88 (2/10/2023)

“Short stories are tiny windows into other worlds and other minds and other dreams. They are journeys you can make to the far side of the universe and still be back in time for dinner.”

— Neil Gaiman
