Hades:
- Hades was the god of the underworld
- he had three sisters, Demeter, Hestia and Hera
- he also had 2 brothers, Poseidon and Zeus
- he was the youngest of the three brothers
- Hades and his brothers defeated their father (Crones) and the Titans claiming rulership over the cosmos
- He was married to the daughter of Demeter, Persephone, whom he kidnapped and made his queen
- he was also known a the god of wealth
- he rarely left the underworld, his presence was unwanted by men and the gods

Minotaur
- a monster with the body of a man and the head, and tail of a bull
- the son of Pasiphae (the wife of Minos) and a snow white bull sent to Minos by Poseidon for sacrifice but his wife kept it alive
- as punishment minos made Pasiphae fall in love with the bull the chid was called Minotaur
- the creature resided in the twisting maze of labyrinth where it was offered a regular sacrifice of youths and maidens to satisfy cannibalistic hunger
- known as a blood thirsty mindless monster
