Just who do Charlie Hebdo think they are?

What is Charlie worried about?

Who do they think they are?

How dare they insinuate that Islam’s demand to be accepted without question into Western societies is leading us to silence dissent about Islam’s rather large claims for its role as the perfect system to order all of mankind’s social and political life — claims that are fundamentally incompatible with Western Civilization?

Why does Charlie think that we should ask ourselves what long process of silence and willful ignorance brought us to a place where Jews can be massacred at a kosher supermarket in France?

How dare they insinuate that jihadism rests on a broad foundation of theology that the silencing of dissent prevents us from interrogating?

Why did Charlie write an editorial on Islamization?

How dare they insinuate that Islam has a problem with jihad which, instead of tackling, its defenders seem insistent on blaming on poverty, racism, unemployment, social marginalization, and bad housing — ills that exist in every society in the world, but which only members of one religious group seem to use as an excuse to wage war?

How dare they insinuate that the problem of jihad has spread so wide and far that Islam, as a faith, should perhaps consider permanently and irrevocably abrogating any parts of their faith which sanction holy war?

Why did Charlie say our silencing of dissent will lead to more outrages?

How dare they insinuate that France has a heritage of its own that is worth defending against passive Islamization?

How dare they?

Who do they think they are?

What hatred drove Charlie to write such an editorial?

Just what, exactly, gave them the right to pen such an editorial?

Let us hope that Charlie’s enemies will never use such ugly methods as putting words on paper against them.
