In the book, I talk about what day trading is and how it differs from other types of trading and investing. I also go into detail about important trading strategies that many traders use every day.
I’ve made the book brief so you can finish it without getting bored in the middle. This book explains where to start, how to start, what to expect from day trading, and how to construct your strategy for new traders. However, simply reading this book will not turn you into a profitable trader.
Profit in trading does not come from reading a few books or surfing the web. It takes practice, the right tools and software, and continual education. Intermediate traders may benefit from the book’s comprehensive review of some of the traditional tactics that the vast majority of retail traders employ with proven success on a regular basis.
If you believe you have progressed beyond the level of a novice trader, you may wish to skip on to Chapter 7 for an overview of the most essential day trading strategies: Day trading is not a game or a pastime.
You must take trading quite seriously. As a result, I get up early, exercise, shower, dress, eat breakfast, and fire up my trading station before the markets open in New York. I have awoken. I’m on guard. When I sit down and begin working on the list of stocks I will monitor that day, I am motivated.
This morning routine has greatly aided my mental preparation for entering the market. Whatever your pattern is, starting the day, in the same way, will yield huge returns.
