Bako, the key player in K-League 1’s second consecutive win, bids farewell to Ulsan “The most precious three years”
Bako (30, Georgia), the key player in Ulsan Hyundai’s second consecutive K-League 1 win, is leaving the team.
On the 13th, Bako posted a post in Korean and English on his social media, saying, “Thank you for the passionate love you have shown me over the past three years. “I also loved you more than any words can express,” he said.
Bako, a midfielder for the Georgia national team, has played in Ulsan for three seasons since 2021 and has been a key player in the team, scoring 28 goals and 5 assists in 106 games in K League 1.
He recorded 11 goals and 1 assist in the 2023 season, when Ulsan won its second consecutive league title, and recently announced his farewell in a letter to fans amid rumors of a transfer to the Chinese league.
