Post-Event Recap: Ceylon On-Chain Event in Colombo, Sri Lanka
We are excited to share our wonderful experience at the Ceylon On-Chain event held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on May 31st. This premier gathering for web3 professionals, enthusiasts, and innovators was a resounding success, providing an ideal platform for networking, learning, and exploring the future of blockchain technology.
The event began with the arrival of our esteemed invitees, creating an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The venue quickly filled with a diverse group of blockchain enthusiasts eager to dive into the day’s activities.
The first workshop session was led by Jonathan Hargreaves from Elastos, where attendees learned about the Elastos product and the opportunity to ensure that users control their own data and build a modern internet where users have the power.
Following Elastos, Prateek Singh and Nikhil Kumar from ZkAGI took the stage to delve into zero-knowledge proofs to ensure privacy while creating an infrastructure for AGI. The team provided the attendees with deep knowledge of how their system works while encouraging developers to build on their platform.
Next, Raja Ramachandran introduced The Brotherhood DAO, explaining the importance of men developing themselves to embody modern masculinity, empowering every man to confidently express their individuality. He encouraged attendees to join this community-driven platform, which aims to foster personal growth, celebrate diversity, and support men on their journey to authenticity.
Kumundini Perera David’s session on voice mastery was a unique and enriching experience. She shared valuable tips on how to communicate with confidence and ensure that they are heard.
Mike De Zilva, Ashani, and Varsha from AdPod, along with Nisal from Ceylon Cash, were also present at the event, representing their respective projects in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. AdPod showcased innovative approaches to digital advertising within the blockchain ecosystem, while Ceylon Cash is dedicated to educating and creating awareness about blockchain and cryptocurrency in Sri Lanka.
Our very own co-founder, Aneesha Reihana and team member Charlie, were there to introduce 1AssetExchange, explaining our mission to revolutionize asset management through tokenization. Aneesha’s presentation highlighted our commitment to demystifying blockchain and making high-value assets accessible to everyone. She also communicated her vision to bring the world of web3 to Sri Lanka, allowing web3 enthusiasts in Sri Lanka to access global opportunities.
The event concluded with a vibrant networking session. Attendees had the chance to connect, share ideas, and discuss potential collaborations. It was a fantastic opportunity to forge new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
