What are some of the coolest iPhone wallpapers I’ve seen people using..

Since September 25th, 2012, the day we deployed our very first wallpaper website, we’ve been involved in nearly all UI/UX communities, researched what wallpapers people like, did A/B testing, developed new wallpaper concepts (see Name Badges, Keep Calm, Blurred) and we’re still receiving a ton of wallpaper submissions every single day.

The Name Badges are for sure the ones that helped us stand out of the pack. The iOS6 at the time lent itself to the grey color screen and people became pretty quickly obsessed with it. Even today, in the iOS10 world, there are a number of people who still go for this old time classic.

Another cool option that you’ll see below are the Keep Calm custom wallpapers. We researched their history, seems like these were introduced in 1939 by the British Ministry of Information to give courage to the Brits (more info on Wikipedia). In the iPhone era, people came up with some clever slogans (see below wallpapers).

Overall, in this short blog post, I’d say that the custom wallpapers have been what has stood out so far. I will cover “Shelves”, “Lockscreens” and some other concepts at a later post. Enjoy!
