Hoverboards slammed on the scene for Christmas 2015, perhaps deeming it the year’s hottest toy for the young and young at heart. Gliding around town or pirouettes for the advanced, hoverboards whimsical appeal explains the popularity.

Priced in the $300 to $600 range sounds reasonable, however, would you invest $20k in ARCA Space’s $20k hoverboard?

ARCA Space Corporation recently announced that “For the first time in history, every person will be able to fly whenever they want, wherever they want. ArcaBoard represents the first revolutionary breakthrough in motion since the bicycle, automobile, and airplane.”

Though the ARCA Space board actually hovers, think I’ll remain grounded for now.
