While I would say that I generally align with the overall message of the article, I would like to respectfully disagree with this passage. Violence has never, will never, and can never end violence. The “people winning” has never ended violence. It ended oppression perhaps… for a time. Violence can only be brought to an end by non-violence. It’s a hard fact of life. It feels counter-intuitive, but deep in our hearts we know. A fire is not put out by gasoline. Just an offering for reflection. If it is not useful, just disregard. Peace/\/\/
