Impressed by the Impression?

When I walk away, what will be said about me?

Does it matter to us what type of impression we leave on people?

At times, we can be so secure of ourselves that we don’t worry about what people may think of us. The problem though, do we consider how our meeting went according to how we conducted ourselves?

What is said about us carries great weight beyond the time spent with a person or group. Our conversation’s effect on people, places and things is so structured to alter the atmosphere they are in. With the power of life and death in the tongue, what we say to people should be guarded specifically.

We ourselves have experienced how susceptible we are to words and actions. How we can take to heart those things said to us , and about us. They affect us to our core, causing us to take on subconscious and conscious changes. For example, we may become very reclusive simply because nothing we said and did was counted good enough or worthy of decent recognition. Or maybe we act out because we were held down and sheltered by our elders and peers. Whatever it may be, it has some serious roots.

So the next time you are in a position where an audience is vulnerable to your persuasion, take care in how you mold their ideas and opinions. Let us be wary of the influence we have on life so as not to waste precious existence. May it be our desire to positively activate the power of faith, hope, and love in the many atmospheres we encounter!!
